Inspired by a BBC short about a death row chef, LAST Meal. began as a typeface mimicking prison bars. But the concept evolved into a full restaurant brand, immersing diners in the final meal experience of the condemned. Stark menus, execution-order typography, and partitioned trays confront patrons with mortality, blurring design and provocation.
